Q: When did you know you loved art?
A: Very early on. At one and a half I was drawing fruit and Michael Jackson portraits.
Q: What do you do with the money you earn?
A: A lot of it will go back into Maddie's Monkey Business. Some will be set aside for my future. Also, I donate a part of the money to Kidz for a Cure.
Q: Where do you get your ideas for your products?
A: When I make a frame, I paint the base color and an idea just comes to me. For the jewelry, I try to make each one a little bit different. Sometimes my parents will make suggestions. But, it’s really my decision. I like to use lots of colors and I try to make jewelry that me or my mom would like.
Q: Where do you see MMB taking you?
A: I want to take some of my profits and reinvest in my business to allow it to grow. Some of the profits will got to my annual charitable event, Kidz For A Cure. And, the remaining will go to fun things like American Girl dolls and accessories. I plan on heading my business into my teen years and beyond. I hope MMB will help me to be admitted into the college of my choice. I see my creation as a vehicle that can help me with my life and a way for me to help others.
